A Few Weeks Later

We haven't been as meticulous with or record keeping as we had planned. Our broccoli, cabbage and spinach remain the all stars of the garden. The lettuce can't seem to catch a break. The peas and beans are making a good effort. Most of the cilantro died, but the remaining bit is seeding. It hasn't been warm enough for the tomatoes to really take off.

Notes:

Everything looks like it's in good shape. Our asparagus seemed to have grown the most. We just learned from a friend that they can get as big as an artichoke plant. Oy! There's not enough room. Hmmm...we also found out that it takes more than one season to produce anything. I definitely have a greater appreciation for asparagus at the store.

Our beans are looking a bit scraggly. They were scraggly when we bought them. So, we'll see. Our snow peas look like their itching to grab something, but they're not taking to our lattice. We'll have to construct bean tee-pees this weekend. We have spare tomato poles.
